But what if there IS a God? What if He exists and wants to have a daily relationship with you, for the rest of your life? What if knowing Him could make your life better, fuller? What if talking to Him every day would help you with loneliness, depression, fear, anxiety? What if having Him as a constant part of your life would direct you to being the true person you should be?
The first step really is no step at all. Just admit that perhaps it is true. Perhaps there is a God. And maybe you'd like to know more about him.
This is not between me and you, or a call to any church. It is between YOU and GOD. No one has to know about your "first step," this admitting to yourself that maybe there is a God.
You don't have to go to Tibet, or Toronto, or a Catholic church for an exorcism, or hear a sermon about your grandmother roasting in hell, or sign up for a visit in your home with a Jehovah's Witness. This first step is very quiet, very private, and about as safe as you can imagine.
Because you CAN sense Him. Deep within yourself you can feel an emptiness. You can almost tangibly touch a connection, a lifeline trailing into the darkness. That there IS Someone out there.
The amazing thing is, He is waiting for you ? has waited for you a very long time. The only thing you need to do is SEEK Him, to begin the wonderful life-changing process.
SEEK HIM, and you WILL find Him.
