This is the first time we have done this, please do not get stressed out over this assignment. Wednesday- Collected summary; IN CLASS reviewed reading strategies -- 'Preview the Selection', 'Make Connections', and 'Recall'; APPLY THESE STRATEGIES TO "HUNTERS IN THE SHADOWS"; complete 'connections sheet' ; TOMORROW we will work on the web and summary. These books do not go home. Thursday - Today worked individually on completing web for "Hunters in the Shadows"; will complete tomorrow in class. |

Cell Assessment Friday Tuesday - Collected cell pictures; Viewed elodea film showing movement of chloroplasts; viewed short film on protists; Read page 36 in text; Completed together chart of cell information; ASSIGNED - Practice Vocabulary words #1-7 and differences in cell (plant, animal, bacteria, protist) Wednesday- Drawing of plant cell and animal cell, color and label. Neatness and accruacy counts toward your grade Thursday - Remember Cell Assessment on Friday. Will collect RS5 and RS6 (Back to back) We worked on most of this worksheet today in class. Collected cell diagrams. |
| Unit 5- New directions - pretests will be returned on Wednesday - (then write words missed on pretest 3 times each. Any other word you have trouble spelling and were just lucky to spell it correctly on the pretest...for your own benefit....write it 3 time. Words are due Friday along with the pretest. If you do not have the pretest or have lost it, all 20 words are to be written 3 times each. No exceptions. Work to complete Unit 5 workbook pages. (Due Tuesday) TEST TUESDAY |
