Dr. McClaine began her veterinary career at a local animal hospital before starting her own practice, Desert Care Animal Hospital, in October of 1991. Dr. McClaine was born and raised in Barstow, California. She received her Bachelor of Science at Cal Poly Pomona in 1983, followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 at U.C. Davis. Dr. McClaine is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. McClaine has a big heart and all animals are special to her. She treats all her patients as if they were her own. In Dr. McClaine’s off time, she enjoys riding her horses, she loves to hike and explore, and of course spend time with her husband, C.J. and daughter, Sara.
