He was found by an old man named Gohan. Son gokou was an unruly child until an unfortunate bump on his head knocked him unconcious for a day. The next day he woke up as a happy child who loved his 'grandpa gohan' till the night he got killed by a giant ape. etc... Now we are at the time when goku has just matured into his teenage years at the tournament where he fights piccolo.
