SSJ
This form is a powered up version of a normal Saiyan. When they reach this stage, the hair stands straight up and becomes gold, their eyes turn green. The legend of the Super Saiyan states that there can be no force stronger then that of a Super Saiyan, but this definitely does not hold true. Just about all the important saiyans go ssj, this includes: Goku, Vegeta, Brolli, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks(Future and Chibi).
With the exceptions of Vegeta, Goten, and Chibi Trunks, all saiyans reached ssj with extreme anger, Goten and Trunks reached ssj without trying and at a young age. Vegeta went ssj becuase he didnt care anymore.

SSJ2
This form is easily more powerful then the normal Super Saiyan form. In this form, the hair gets a little longer and theres a increase in muscle mass. Only 3 saiyans reached this stage. Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta

SSJ3
This form is by far the strongest normal Super Saiyan stage. Its pretty odd looking to. With hair down to the knees, and no eye brows. All this physical deformity equals and immense source of power, that saves lives in a pinch. Only Goku and Gotenks reached this stage. It is only in this stage that Goku can complete the Dragonfist attack

SSJ4
This form can only be seen in Dragonball GT. If you follow the lines of DBZ, this is not a true form of Super Saiyan, it leaves behind the traditional characteristics of the super siyan forms in DBZ. Instead of gold hair, you keep you hair color, except Gogeta, who's hair turns Red. You grow red fur on some of your body, again except Gogeta, who grows black fur. This Form is somewhat a cross between Oozaru and Human. Some say it is the true Super Saiyan form, because you can reach the golden Oozaru stage before and after this stage. Back in the saiyan saga, we see Vegeta telling the story of the legendary Super Saiyan over 1000 years before. We dont see regular Oozaru, or the traditional Super Super Saiyan.1, 2 or 3, we see a Golden Oozaru

SSJ5
This form is reached in a new series called Dragonball After Future, when you reach this stage your hair grows down much like SSJ3, but not as long, and instead of Gold or black it becomes grey/white. You grow Grey fur over ur body, this stage is much like SSJ4

No Super Saiyan levels past SSJ4 were ever achieved nor created, there have been specticles of new serieses, its all FAKE!!!!!
In Japan, DBGT ended over 6 years ago.... There most likey will never be another series. :( but thats bad news for us aint it
