A Super Saiyan, an evolutionary link that occurs once every several thousand years, has now moved along the evolution scale to become a common transformation amongst those of the Saiyan heritage. Able to increase one's power level by over 1 million, this transformation not only allows for incredible strength, but light-speed agility as well.
A Super Saiyan's hair style changes from that of the normal hair style, usually raising the hair more up. The colour of a Super Saiyan's hair is gold / blonde, and the hair, as well as the individual's body emit off a powerful light, surrounding the individual in a golden aura. The eyes of a Super Saiyan are white, with turquoise pupils.
The level of a Super Saiyan is not usually easy to transform to, but the transformation process usually occurs when the individual is extremely angry, usually from an occuring problem, such as a relative or friend being beaten.
If a Super Saiyan trains hard enough, he may ascend beyond this power, to what is known as a Super Saiyan 2.
