Old Vintage Steinway Uprights.

Another nice old piano.

I think it was a Sohmer.

Piano Piano has a lot of interesting pianos like this vintage Hardman. This is an art case parlor grand. This piano had been restored but not rebuilt. It was in pretty good condition.

At about this point, Bruce and I were discussing the many other brands of the Golden Age, such as Hardman, and he said that in his opinion the idea of rebuilding a lot of these pianos that were basically still in pretty good condition had been excessive, that some were probably best retired and replaced with newer instruments. This nice old piano was being offered as is for around $14K.

Though Piano Piano was pretty much a new piano outlet and had a dimmer view of piano rebuilding than others, there were nevertheless pianos presented as worth considering as rebuild or restore candidates including these two fine vintage Steinway uprights. These pianos, ladies and gentlemen, when fully restored, are quite wonderful and are frequently sought after as a professional's studio or second piano. Their cases were in excellent condition and they were really in pretty good condition for their age. They'd make wonderful pianos for restoring completely.

Piano Piano had quite a variety of nice old art case grands and a large selection of better than average and in good condition used pianos. So if you are interested in getting a piano with some artisic appeal or if you are just starting out with pianos, Piano Piano may just have your piano.

Below, I find one of the few nice Baldwin grands on the tour, this one an SF10
