| She was born on Feb. 27th 2001 in the barn and stayed for a day with her mom, Missy and sister Danielle. But she stopped nursing and got very weak. So I brought her to the house and milked her mom and bottle fed her. |

| By the time she got strong enough to return toher Mom and sister, they wouldn't have anything to do with her. That is how Calamity Jane came to be raised in my house. A week after Calamity was born another set of twins were born to another doe, Leila. It turned cold and somehow the twins got away from Leila and one died and the mother got sick (and later died) but I found the little male in time and brought him to the house. That is how Felix became Calamity's brother. |
