| In October of 2001, I spent one of the best weeks of my life at Iceland Airwaves. Luckily for me, the folks from Icelandair liked this site, and brought me back in 2002 to write a daily web diary. I'll be returning in 2003 to write more daily diaries, and contributed much of the text to this year's official Airwaves site, including the Airwaves Insider section and "What Is Airwaves?" The daily diaries are included in the Airwaves Insider section, with photos by Mike Benson. |

| It was the best kind of guerrilla journalism: sitting in a coffee shop with a beer, trying to remember all the cool things I had seen and done the night before.
