8. DEPRIVATION OF CIVIL RIGHTS, DENIAL OF ACCESS TO THE COURT
Greene County Judge Daniel Lalor, replacing Columbia County Judge Paul Czajka on a civil case, denied a litigant access to his own proceeding. The litigant was asked by Judge Lalor, through the litigants attorney, to leave the courtroom, and the conference was subsequently held in the litigants absence. Absence of Civil Rights. Several family members of litigants with cases in front of the Honorable Judge Czajka claim they were not allowed in the courtroom during trials/proceedings, even though they were not called as witnesses.
*Judge Czajka is apparently building a home in Greene County, which could explain the possible collusion between the Greene County and Columbia County local governments.
9. CONSPIRACY, BRIBERY
Albany Attorney Paul Dwyer allegedly conspired with Judge Czajka and several attorneys to fix a civil case in exchange for Mr. Dwyer receiving the appointment to Bethlehem Town Court Judge. Interviews with witnesses, apparent tampering with evidence, failure to call witnesses to testify at trial that Dwyer himself subpoenaed, as well as apparent contradictions on the part of Atty. Dwyer, seem to indicate enough probable cause to warrant a criminal investigation.
