Several people have come forward alleging that transcripts from proceedings in front of Judge Paul Czajka have been altered. During the pre-trial proceedings of several Columbia County Corrections Officers accused of sexually molesting female prisoners, one courtroom observer claims she watched Judge Paul Czajka allegedly signal stenographer Cynthia West to start and stop typing information into the record.
The Corrections Officers were subsequently acquitted, and the Sheriffs Department, which oversees the Corrections Officers, endorsed Paul Czajka for Judge prior to the election last November.
Did Judge Paul Czajka fix the trial in exchange for the Sheriffs Department endorsement?
- Former Columbia County Social Services Commissioner Mitchell Oxenhorn, referring to a court appearance before the Honorable Judge Czajka, said, It was once I went in there, he said, Let the record show Commissioner of Social Services has been screaming at me for 5 minutes,
and I would say, With all due respect your Honor, let the record show that the Commissioner of Social Services has not even spoken. We order the transcript, neither one of those remarks would be in there.
- The Supreme Court Appellate Division, 3rd Dept., made up of the following judges; Cardona, Spain, Lahtinen, Mercure, Mugglin, Peters, Bruce Crew 111, Kane, Rose, and Carpinello, presides over appeals of decisions made by the Hon. Judge Paul Czajka. The 3rd Dept. almost always upholds Judge Czajkas decisions.
6. ALTERED COURT TRANSCRIPTS
Would these honorable judges still uphold Judge Paul Czajkas decisions if it turns out hes been altering court transcripts to defeat the appeals process?
