"The story of Janusz Korczak a Polish physician and head of the Jewish Orphanage in the Warsaw Ghetto who refused to stay behind to care for forced laborers while his children were sent to Treblinka. He and they perished together.

White Rose
"Based on the true story of a small group of students in wartime Nazi Germany, the White Rose presents a dramatic narration of the daring group's struggle against the brutal Nazi regime outlined in Inge Scholl's biography and Micheal Verhoeven's movie, Die Wei�e Rose (1982). Musical based on the true story of the White Rose resistance movement in Munich. The students, with the help of their professor, print and distribute anti-Nazi leaflets and pay for their resistance with their lives."

I also discovered that I needed the Microsoft reader to view the Ebook... I followed the link to the microsoft site and downloaded and installed the reader. Slick and fast.

When I visited (6/01), the page included: The Execution Tapes (The historic broadcast of executions tape-recorded by the Georgia Department of Corrections). Witness to an Execution (The stories of men and women involved in the execution of deathrow inmates at the Walls Unit in Huntsville, Texas), Yiddish Radio Project (All that remains of the golden age of Yiddish radio are about fifteen hundred recordings, serendipitously preserved, miraculously rescued from garbage cans and attics), Ghetto Life 101 (the audio diaries of LeAlan Jones and Lloyd Newman, two young boys living in one of the most notorious public housing projects in America). I enjoyed the last tape....I wonder, if most schools could do a project like this last one for the school intranet....
