WHERE THE WIND TAKES US!

Poor little Samantha dog, she REALLY hates the thunder, She wants to know who had the bright idea of bringing her to Indianapolis, IN
Everyone keeps thinking I will get bored while Suzi is at work...  I am still waiting, right now, being bored sounds nice...  Yesterday I had quite the day.  I dropped Suzi off at work, then I proceded to get my errands done.  I was taking a left turn, and am still not sure where the mini van came from... But yes, I hit them...oops...  Nobody was hurt, not even the dogs.  As a matter of fact, the collision was less of a jolt than the railroad tracks near our RV park.  I did do a nice job down the whole side of the mini van.  Click here to see some pics of the truck

I was surprised when the police came, I did not get a ticket.  I never even had to sign anything.  Maybe I will get a ticket in the mail???  It took 1hr for the officer to arrive.  It was in the low 90's with high hummidity...

In the evening the thunder and wind started.  Samantha was a very unhappy camper.  But what was unusual was Ginger got upset, and crawled on my lap.  Less than a 1/2 hour later, the air raid siren started blaring...

The camphost had told me that is what happens when there is a tornado warning...  She told me the shelter is in the basement of the building where you check in.  I rounded up the pets, jumped into the truck and drove up to find the door locked.  Others from the RV park were driving away.  I am not sure where they were going.  I saw someone carrying their dog into the firestation next door.  I grabbed Buger from the cab of the truck, and put the 2 dogs on leash.
Both dogs were freaked out by all the wind and thunder.  I accidentally dropped Buger at one point.  (she is fine)  My bigest mistake was I had the dogs on the extend-a-leashes and they would not listen to me at all.  I finally put them both on the same lead, and got it locked short, and put Buger on the other lead.

The firemen told me there were 2 touchdowns, but I never saw anything on the news...  The girls and I ended up spending about 1hr at the firestation with several of our neighbors.  Then I went and got suzi, not even bothering to go to the trailer first...

When Suzi and I arrived home we saw a large limb on the ground near the rec hall, but that was the only damage at the RV park.  There was also a flood warning last night.  According to the news we got around 3inches of rain last night in our area.
