Tim Page was a naturally gifted wrestler who was never out of
a match. Tim was
New York State Champion @ 98 lbs. in 1996. He
placed at States again in 1997 @ 96 lbs. coming in 3rd. He was a
5-time placer at
SUPERS winning in 1996, 1997, placing 3rd in 1995,
2000 and 4th in 1999. Tim was a 4-time Sectional Champion and the
1st 4-time LCAA County Champion. He won the Samuel Cappadonia
Award as Livingston County's Most Outstanding Wrestler in 2000.
He continues to hold the all-time wins record at Wayland with 181,
which was still 4th all-time in Sec.V and 25th all-time in NY State
history in 2004. Tim had 4-30 win seasons and a 41-0 season.
Tim amassed a career record of 181-12 while missing the 1998
season. He remains in the top two all-time at Wayland in wins,
pins and takedowns. His 94% winning percentage remains one
of the highest in NY State History. A phenomenal talent who
was truly fun to watch work.
