Brochure Design
View Brochure Design page 1—View Brochure Design page 2We were given brand style guides for our choice of restaurants; I chose Italian. I needed to design a menu, brochure and table tent. I decided to use traditional Italian style of eating; multi-course dining and family-style dining. The brochure can be used as a mailer for couples that want to celebrate their wedding or special events.
Typographical Portrait
View Typographical PortraitA typographical portrait is using words to create an image. I chose to create one for Angelina Jolie. The words used were repeated patterns of the different movies and tv shows she has performed in. Different parts of the portrait are different sizes to give detail to the full image.
Advertising Design
View Advertising DesignI was asked to design a poster for a radio station. They provided the logos, and some of the text that needed to be incorporated into the design. I designed a few options, and this was the most liked version. I used different fonts and font sizes to create interest in the design. The background image helped decide the colors to be used.
Logo Design
View Logo DesignWe were given a client design brief with four choices; I chose a holistic animal clinic. I needed to create a design portfolio after working on the logo design. It included how to use the logo, colors, and how the logo would look on stationery items, i.e. envelope, letterhead and business card.
Business Stationery
View Business StationeryThese are the letterhead, envelope, notebook and business card created for my personal brand. The logo is my own design. The colors, blue and orange, are complementary on the color wheel. Each item is balanced, centered and gives plenty of space for usability. If you need this for your own company, please let me know.
Gradient Text Wrapping
View Gradient Text WrappingI found a poem by Robert Frost and created a design for my interpretation of the words. The images symbolize the circle of growth from a seed to a seedling, a seedling to a tree, a tree grows the fruit. The leaves and fruit fall and the seed grows in the soil again. The apple is hand-drawn.

There are several types of baskets. The information in the text lets the customer know what to expect, and gives options on how to make an order.

The title and sub-titles use a decorative font to grab attention. The design is simple and helps spread the message of how learning to garden can be simple.
