Main Characters:

Inuyasha
Inuyasha is a half demon. His mother was human and his father was a dog youkai, who was the Lord of the Western Lands. (was) Anyways, Inuyasha seeks the Shikon no Tama, or Jewel of the Four Sols so he can wish apon it and transform into a true, "full fledged" demon.

Kagome
Kagome is not your average school girl. On her fifteenth birthday, Kagome is pulled through a well on her home grounds by a demon called "Mistriss Centipeid". (sp?) She meets up with Inuyasha and releases him from a fifty year old spell put on him by his previous lover. (See Kikyo) After accidentally breaking the jewel which she was supposed to protect, Kagome and Inuyasha pair up to search for the fragments of the Shinkon jewel, not knowing how many there are. Love sparks up, but is it because Inuaysha sees her as his previous love, Kikyo? Is Kagome more than just Kikyo's reincarnation? We may never know until the fabulous author writes more...

Shippo:
Shippo is the first to join the Inuyasha and Kagome group. After Kagome is kidnapped by one of the infamous Lightning Brothers, Manteen (the ugly one), Shippo whose father was killded by the Ligtning Brothers and Inuyasha "team up" to help rescue Kagome. Shippo is still just a kid and is mostly usless except for saving Kagome a few times. Inuyasha manages to kill the Lightning Brothers and gets five Shinkon shards from them. He also scores something he doesn't seem to want-Shippo.

Miroku:
The second to join the group, Miroku is a groping perverted man with an "air rip" as you would call it in his right hand. It was placed as a curse on his grandfather by a demon called Naraku. Miroku explains that fifty years ago, the demon Naraku slew the priestess who was guarding the jewel. It was then Inuyasha realizes that the demon shapeshifted into his form and killed Kikyo, doing the same to him, making them believe they betrayed one another. After a few episodes, Miroku decides to travel with the group, but only because "he enjoys the accompany of a pretty woman". Kagome seems quite flattered.

Sango:
She is the thrid to enter the group. Sango's brother, Kohaku was manipulated at a castle where she, her father and friends had been called to exterminate a demon. Kohaku being controlled killed everyone, hurting Sango. The Lord of the castle who had een killed by a spider demon (who was now in the Lord's body) ordered the two surivors to be killed. Kohaku and Sango were shot with arrows. The Lord's son realized his "father" wasn't who he was and killed him. Sango lived. She was tricked by Naraku into thinking that while she had been away, her village had been destroyed by Inuyasha. She goes to kill him, but after fighting she realizes that Naraku is at fault. So she joins the group.

Kirara:
Sango's demon cat. Kirara can transform into a huge cat that can carry what seems to be two people and a kitsune. Otherwise, she is smaller than Shippo and can sit on Sango's shoulder. So kawai!

Other Main Characters:

Kikyo: Priestess who protected the jewel before she was killed by Naraku who was disguised as Inuyasha. She died hating Inuyasha. She was reincarnated 50 years later, into a girl named Kagome.

Naraku:
Shape shifting demon who everyone wants to kill. He's evil. The end.

Sesshoumaru:
The sexiest man on earth! Sesshoumaru is Inuyasha's older half brother. He hates Inuyasha for what he is, but his icy heart softens as his new companion, Rin cheers his heart. Sesshoumaru's evil henchman is Jaken.

Jaken:
Sesshoumaru's hench man. He seems mean towards Rin at first, but starts to live to enjoy her company. Most people make Jaken evil, but he really seems kind towards Rin at heart. Especially in episode 99. So kawai!!!

Rin:
Orphan girl who found Sesshoumaru hurt in the woods after recieving a full on blast of Inuyasha's Wind Scar. She helped heal him and when he asked why she had so many bruises on her face she smiled and started laughing with joy. Of course, Sesshoumaru had no idea why. The reason she had so many bruises was because the villager beat her because she stole a fish in order to feed Sesshoumaru. Kaouga's wolves were set on the village and killed Rin. Sesshoumaru found her mangaled body and saved her with tenseiga. She stopped being a mute and now lives to talk and love her Sesshoumaru-Sama.

Kouga:
Leader of the Wolf Clan. He claims Kagome to be his woman after seeing how loyal she is. He decided not to eat humans or let any of his clan do the same in oder to please Kagome. In episode 99, he saves Rin from being eaten. So kawai!

Kohaku:
Sango's little brother. He was brought back to life by Naraku. His mind was erased so now he works for Naraku. He attacks Sango and the group, each time filling her heart with sadness, sorrow, and rage. She wants to free her little brother from Naraku's grasp.
