jess lytle.
storyteller.
character: whatever the hell needs to be played
favorite color: she's a girl, i'll say pink
tv shows: buffy & angel. . .and the power puff girls
author: anne rice
jess would really like to believe that she's a pixie
in fact, it took much effort on my part not to allow
her character to be at all fae inclined.
this was a huge step for her in her 12 step program
next will be to finally get her to acknowledge that
lillith is only a figure to be worshipped in character
jess currently enjoys spending her weekends at the
ohio renaissance festival where she acts (though,
she's still bitter that i retired from the festival)
and hopping along through forests where she still searches
for little pixies and other woodland creatures of myth
jay vance.
player.
character: nosferatu primogen
favorite color: greyish-blue
tv shows: buffy & angel
author: maybe someone such as clive barker?
since my narrators/players have yet to give me bios
i've taken it upon myself to supply them.
jason is a slacker by day and hopeless by night
which is probably why i consider him my friend...
we have those traits in common.
when not working, he enjoys his time relaxing...
usually by drowning his days away through alcohol,
nicotine and a blurred sense of reality.
again, we have a lot in common
benson and jo
players.
characters: brujah primogen; independent primogen
these players are more or less one entity.. not being
separate beings, they mostly enjoying being so cute
they disgust the entire population of dayton by night.
when not being children of the night, benson enjoys
being pretty swanky and jo enjoys laughing at him.
nathan
player.
character: tremere
while young blood in this game, nathan has thus far
proven himself to be an intriguing player. his snide
comments and crimson cynicism alone make him well worth
having around.
"billy, have you ever drank deep from a well and wondered
how the hell you found yourself at the bottom of it with
water wading up to your shoulders and impossibly slick walls
that prevent you from climbing out of the dark deep--realizing
that no-one else is around for miles save a crow sitting at
the top of the well. well have you, billy?"
jamie
player.
character: toreador
it seems that jamie is a person who completely gets "into" his
roles. going from a rather disturbing nos to an anarch of a gangrel
to a purely prim & proper toreador--he's able to play the roles to a
t. also one to ever encourage the late nights after game, he often
enthusiastically suggests or supports the idea of a few hours at steak
n shake to take us all near the waning hours of the sun
chris
player.
character: gargoyle
the storytelling team is quite fond of chris because he doesn't
get overly bitter when we kill of his characters. that lack of
spite is an excellent quality to have and makes it easier for us
when we just feel liking nixing a character for the hell of it.
with that said, however, storytellers and narrators are encouraged
to forever maintain a watchful eye on him--nothing he does is ever
innocently done. Nothing.
phil
player & narrator.
character: ventrue primogen
when this loveable lupine isn't being a child of the night,
he's busy selling books at your favorite commercial
institution owned by the man. phil enjoys running through
the woods in wolf form and reading when out of game..
Lee & lily
player.
characters: tremere
while unable to come to the game regulary, it's always a joy
when they arrive--something often tends to go awry (coincidence?).
both are smart players and sometimes attempt to rival benson & jo
on the whole couple thing. i don't know. . .it's close at times.
james perry
player.
character: independent - sheriff
james, god rest his soul, was a wonderful man in life. . .
oh wait, he's still with us! when pulled away from his
guitar or wrestling events you'll usually find some random
witty comment to escape his mouth (or is that always?).
it's also nice to see him not playing a f*%king malkavian
these days, too.
heidi
player.
character: malkavian
jake
player.
character: don't ask, don't tell policy
damnit jake, keep your pants up!!
keith
player
character: malkavian
where would our fair city be without the dj spinning,
deputy sheriff position malkavian? probably a lot more
stable!! keith has the excellent ability to play the bass
remarkably well and is never without something clever to
say (what's with these musical persons and their mouths??).
maddie & gina
players
characters: ventrue
words cannot say how delighted i became when these two finally decided to join the game. great friends and exceptional players, they also understand and sympathize with my monetary poorness
