Story:
With a possible mutant resgistration law getting more and more votes behind it the X-men must battle with Magneto who thinks there is a war brewing between mankind and humans. Charles Xavier and his X-Men must also figure out the mystery as to what Magneto wants with the mutant Logan (Wolverine) and as to what has happened to Senator Kelly who is a high supporter of the mutant regsitration law and as Logan tries to unravel the mystery of his past and how he came to have metal anamantium grafted over his entire skeleton.
Justin Whittaker's Review:
An excellent film from one of my favourite directors who continues alot of the original characters with a huge arangement of special effects from Toad's toungue to Magneto bending Logan's claws. Many memorable quotes and action sequences such as when Logan fights Sabertooth on the head of the Statue of Liberty. Also check for cameos from Stan Lee (creator of X-men) and Ray Park (Toad) using many of the same acrobatics from "Star Wars Episode 1" who he played Darth Maul.

Logan: Sabertooth?

Logan: Storm.
[looks at Xavier]
Logan: What do they call you? "Wheels"? This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
[Logan confronts Magneto for the first time]
Magneto: You must be Wolverine. That remarkable metal doesn't run through your entire body, does it?
Logan: What do you want with me?
Magneto: My dear boy, whoever said I wanted you?
Magneto: Why do none of you understand what I'm trying to do? Those people down there- they control our fate and the fate of every other mutant! Well, soon our fate will be theirs.
