For as long as she could remember, nothing she had ever done was good enough. Her earliest childhood memories were ones of deep hurt and rejection. Her teenage years only added to a real sense of failure and worthlessness and she carried this image of herself into her adult life.
Then one day, pouring out a heart of bitterness and pain, she received a glimpse of a new creature, a future of hope and joy. A friend, with deep love and compassion, spoke of a budding rose, needing only water and sunshine to soon become a thing of great beauty and joy. Her hungry heart clung to this image and as she reached toward the Son, the rose began to bloom. With the new growth, came new joy and a new dream. A fresh look at life revealed beauty within, needing expression without.
So, with the dawn of a new life, came the dawn of a new business - Dawning Designs - and the reason behind the rose at dawn. |
