Thank you for visiting my web-site. Let me tell you something about myself. I am the "over50" wife of Andy, mother of Karl and Kiersten and caretaker of 2 cats, Anisee and Sushi. We live in a small town about 20 miles from Winnipeg, Manitoba, in Canada. I am a small town girl through and through, still living in the same house I grew up in. We were married in 1975 and, unable, medically, to have a family, I took additional schooling and became a Certified Health Care Aide and earned a Diploma as a Phase II Dental Assistant. Through God's miraculous working, I gave birth to Karl in 1987 and Kiersten in 1992. They are the loves of my life and I devoted myself to being a full-time mom. I started crafting in about 1990, with ceramics as my first effort. I soon began to add wooden items, with some flowers and sewing thrown in to keep me from being bored. I set up a workroom in my home and there I do all my own wood-cutting, sanding, and painting. Each item is hand crafted and so no two items are exactly the same.
We live busy lives, between school, piano, voice, flute, work and church. In between being Mom's Taxi service, maid, cook, nurse, spiritual advisor, recreational director, educational resource guide,Teen Mentor, part-time Health Care Aide in a Personal Care Home and tired wife, I find time to produce and sell my crafts. I have recently furnished and opened a display room in my home for personal viewing - coffee is always on - come for a visit! I have just become this area's Tupperware Service Rep., so if you are looking for that special item for yourself, a gift for a friend, or just need to replace a damaged item, please call! I'll be thrilled to help you out!
I hope to soon add on-line shopping to my site, but at this time, am more than willing to take orders via email or snail mail. Items may be purchased as shown, or special ordered, if there is a different color you would prefer. All prices quoted are in Canadian funds. Upon receiving your order, I will calculate shipping and handling and notify you of the final cost.
A lot of my items are for everyday household decor or gift giving, but I also do a lot of seasonal crafts, so come back often, as the seasons change and holidays come up - you're bound to find something new.
It is my prayer as I make each item that the recipient will be blessed with God's love and great friends. I hope you receive as much joy from owning a piece as I received from making it. God bless you. |
