Crafting Guide
Crafting consists of Pottery, Jewelry, and Tailoring (leather).

Pottery

Pottery can be done with a crafting level of just 1. You need to do this before you move on to jewelry which requires level 5 to start with.

To do pottery, you will first have to mine clay from a mine. Then, use water with clay to make it soft.

Then, take the soft-clay to the pottery-wheel in Barbarian Village. Next you have a choice of making various simple items.

After that, you will need to place the items in the pottery-furnace to fire them.

Jewelry

Jewelry requires at least level 5 crafting and level 40 smithing to start. First step would be to mine gold nuggets and then smelt them into gold bars.

Once you have gold bars, you can mould them into ready-to-sell jewelry. To get moulds, you will have to go to the Crafting store in either Al Kharid or in Rimmington.

To increase the price of your items, you can add gems to your jewelry. Once you get a gem, you will have to cut it with a chisel so you can add it to your jewelry.

Lets run through a simulation of making a Sapphire Gold Amulet:

Items needed: Gold Bar, Sapphire, Chisel, Amulet Mould, and Shears.

First we cut the sapphire with the chisel. Then, use the gold bar with the furnace.

Next we will have a choice of making several items of jewelry. For this example, we will choose an Amulet.

Another menu will then open asking what kind of gem you would like to add. We will choose Sapphire.

Now, the amulet is almost ready. All it needs now is a string.

We will need to get wool from sheep using sheers.

After we get wool, we will need to refine it into a ball of wool. This can be done at a spinning machine located at the top of the South Tower of Lumbridge Castle.

The last step would be to use the ball of wool with the amulet.

Now your amulet is ready.

You can either: Wear the amulet, sell it at the jewelry store, or enchant it into a Sapphire Amulet of Magic.

Leather

This will require you to kill a cow and take the cow-hide to the Tannery in Al Kharid. Then talk to Tanner. He will trade you leather for your cow hides. Tanner will also charge you 1gp for every cow-hide he trades you.

You will need to get a sewing-pin and some thread. Next, use the pin with the leather to sew leather items.
