Certified Massage Therapist

Bio:

Born in New York on a sunny summer day in late July, Davon prides himself on being a Leo.
All that sunny optimism is truly reflected in his personality. At the age of 16 he began studying BelCanto and Ballet in addition to his passion for painting and drawing. This flare toward the artistic led him to continue his study of art and dance in Spain. Upon returning to the 'States, he received a Master's Degree and began to teach language arts at City University of New York. To supplement his teaching position he worked with a professional Jazz Dance company in Manhattan. Countless hours on the road with the dance company, he would massage his fellow dancers. It was then that he realized he had a special gift to share, the healing art of massage. The winds of fate took him to Rome, where he sang, danced and taught, then to Santa Fe, New Mexico where he wanted to pursue massage as a career option.
It wasn't, however, till he moved to San Francisco where he finally received his Certification from The San Francisco School of Massage in 1995.
In addition to teaching at UC Berkeley and running his home-based wellness company "Dreams Happen" as an Independent Nikken Distributor, Davon enjoys his work as a Certified Massage Therapist.
