BIOGRAPHIES

BRADLEY BARNES, 56, of Davis, died Sept. 4.  Death was attributed to a heart attack.He was born July 25, 1948, in Pierce, the son of the late Charles Roy and Louristine Aretta Durr Barnes. He is survived by one son, Jeffrey A. (Duke) Barnes of Lake Okeechobee, Fla.; five sisters, Delores Sisler of Morgantown, Connie Whitehair, Joan Matthews and Sharon Oxley, all of Davis, and Patricia Falls of Parsons; five brothers, Charles Barnes of Sheffield, Ohio, Robert, Jerry and Jeff, all of Davis, and Larry Barnes of Nitro; many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Kisner; two brothers, Robert and James; one nephew, Kenneth Whitehair; and one niece, Michelle Barnes. He was a 1967 graduate of Mountaineer High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a retired construction worker.Friends were received at the Hinkle Funeral Home on Sept. 9. Funeral services were held at the Hinkle Funeral Chapel on Sept. 10 with the Rev. Eli Hostetler officiating. Interment followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
