Recovery Program
The PLATO Learning courseware allows students to move throught the curriculum at their own pace. The program is designed to access the student's progress as they study and complete each section of the curriculum.
Students accepted into this program have the privilege of earning credit for a course that they have previously failed and did not receive transcript credit. PLATO is offered to students free of charge, so we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.
Parent and Student Agreement
Each student entering into PLATO must have a signed and dated Parent and Student Agreement. This agreement states the guidelines for the course: Attendance, Grades, and Classroom Conduct. Both the parent and student must sign and return this document prior upon entering into the program. Click here to read and print the agreement.

Evenings 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Attendance, Grades, and Behavioral Expectations
Attendance
Regular prompt attendance is essential for the student to complete the curriculum in a timely manner. Students are only allowed 2 absenses in an eight week period. A conference and possible termination from the program will occur upon the third absense.
Grades
Students must pass the mastery test component with an 80% or better to receive credit for a section in the curriculum. Students are required to complete 15% per week of the total curriculum in addition to maintaining the attendance guidelines. If a student is able to complete more than the required 15% per week, we strongly encourage them to continue working and complete the course before the end of the eight week term.
Behavioral Expectations
The Credit Recovery lab is an independent study enironment; therefore, student are required to be courteous and work quietly to complete the curriculum. The consequences for disruptive behavior includes and is not limited to removal from the Credit Recovery program entirely.
