| My Day with Leonardo
My criteria for a perfect day spent with Leonardo would be based on his life and interests, as well as mine. First, I would show him our modern scientific achievements which he both influenced and maybe even had the idea for. I know he would have a great admiration for them. I would start out by going to probably our countrys most advanced machines, the aircraft carriers and their planes. I would like to show him how we have found to use radar, electronics, satellite sytems and more. We could go there and fly even! He would really enjoy that because he had yearned all of his life to fly like a bird. After doing barrel rolls in a Y-22, we would then go to another realm that he embarked on: the water. I think that he would love to take a personal sub-aquatic type of machine. I would drive around and show him the world underwater. We could swim with dolphins and chase sharks. I am sure that by this time, we would be pretty hungry. Knowing that he was Italian, I would take him on a private jet to Italys finest restaurant and dine there. I know that he was a strict vegetarian, so I would not like to offend him by ordering meat. I would stick with cheese ravioli. Hmmmm. After that, I would take him to the San Diego Zoo. I know how much he loved animals, so we would get special passes and be able to go behind the bars and be with the animals. Of course, some animals would not be great to be with, others would be fantastic. We could be shown how the animals run and move, with the latest digital computer technology. He and I both would like this because he worked so much with anatomy. After that visit, I would take him to a place where anatomy is the only thing going: the operation room. I would take him an operating room where they were performing an open heart surgery. He would really like this because he studied the heart a lot and was absolutely blown away by its beauty and complection. You can learn more about his studies in the Science section. I would let him observe while I video taped it for him to see later. I would then take him to the MRI center. He could get an MRI and also be able to look at his muscles. He would really like that, because he spent much of his life trying to construct accurate depictions of the human body. To finish the day. We would go eat dinner in a helicopter and cruise around. It would be a great day.
