Although this
ep was shown as the 8th of series 3 it was actually filmed as the very
last Worst Witch episode with the original cast. (40th ep) and placed as
the 8th episode (obviously) so it could be shown near Christmas and
not the end of January. |

A celebrated 'avant-garde'
artist in 'psychedelic slacks' comes to Cackles to teach the girls some
Art skills.
Each girl
or group is to come up with an original peice of Art,the best judged will
win a prize.
Millie is
soon discovered to have hidden talents as 'drawer of stuff'
This pisses
off Maud who had been getting a little attention for her own skills.
Ethel changes
Millie into a lifelike statue so Drusilla can win the prize (with ethel
taking 50% as her agent)
In the end
the plot is exposed and millie wins (i think)
Learning Millie
is artistically gifted sets up some storylines that happen at the end of
series 3... |

Miss Drill (The
only non Witch Teacher at Cackles Academy) yearns to become a Witch
Enid,Maud
and Millie Mix a potion and trick Drill into drinking it.
Drill suddenly
develops Super Witch powers and is made a full fledged Witch in a sombre
ceremony.
The girls
realize the potion should wear off eventually and know they are in deep,deep
trouble when the truth comes out.
Ethel meanwhile
has caught on to whats been going on and threatend to expose them.
Drills powers
have gone to her head and Millie and Friends make a potion to changer
her back
Drill is outraged
and zaps Enid into a wall...She realizes the girls are telling the truth
and drinks the potion...a Witch no more...
They then
play volleyball... |

Episode 10
The third year
girls fly to Chief Wizard Hellibore's Camalot Wizards Academy to mingle
with the Wizard lads....But secretly Miss Cackle and Hellibore are discussing
the merger of the two schools for financial reasons....
Millie is
surprised to see 'Charlie Blossom' there,a foot taller and his voice an
octave lower.
Being bullied
by Gaz and Baz the deadly duo....
The boy wizards
are throwing a secret cellar party at which Ethel and Drusilla will be
the only girls..
hhhmmmm.....?
Enid makes
a potion to cause Baz and Baz fall for millie who then finds invites to
the secret party slipped under the door...
Ruby uses
walkie-talkies to lure the teachers to the party where Millies being pawed
over by the smitten Baz and Gaz....
No merger
for the schools...and cold showers for Baz and Gaz....The rest break into
spontaneous dance

Crochet is flattered by the admiration she receives from Professor Von
Raffenberg, who claims to be an international conductor of music. However
all is not what it seems.
A badly written
episode with a dodgy plot and a poorly contrived ending
This was the
second episode made without any of the Main Cast girls in it.....
And was Miss
Crochets chance at a 'Star Turn'
It's really
really bad
The only episode
out of 40 I can't watch =(
The scene
with the Cymbals chasing after 'Herr Von Raffenburg' makes me cringe.

Final Exams time...loads
of stress....
'Last One.Last
One' Millie and her mates sing as they skip down the halls.
Later the
sneak off into town to attend a local fair,Gris and Fenny cover for them.
But everyone
get caught....
Miss Cackle
catches the girls making fun of her and goes crazy
instituting
a 'Zero Tolerance' policy till end of term.
The girls
rebel and form an underground newspaper 'The Unfairground'
Eventually
they are caught and Jadu and Millie are expelled from school.

Uninvited

Episode 13
Mille and Jadu
are locked in solitary waiting for their parents to come pick them up.
Their friends
come up with a desperate plan to save the day.
In a stunning
development Drusilla has dumped Ethel,and joined up with Maude,Jadu,Ruby
and Enid
(Ostensibly
to demand more chips for lunch) but has also threatened Ethel with a beating
if she tells the teachers about the groups plans.
Millie's friends
plot (with help from Fenny and Gris)
To steal the
'Mythiacopia' (a very powerfull and dangerous book of forbidden spells)
from Miss Cackles Office.
(Cauliflower
Cheese! :)
And conjure
up a monster to threaten the academy so that Mildred can save the school
yet again and not get the chop!
(I told you
it was a deperate plan!)
They decide
on a 'Unicorn' but but dont notice a page has been torn from the 'Mythiacopia'
and they are really conjuring up 'The Uninvited' the wicked stepmonster
from 'Snow White'
who proceeds
to make everyone fall asleep and become covered in cobwebs.
Drusilla runs
to get Millie to save them all.
Mildred draws
a shining Knight she calls 'Prince Percy' and brings him to life with her
newfound voodoo art magic....He's the short ,strong and silent type who
goes around kissing everyone in the academy...HB and Ethel included...and
saves everyone...
Not only doesnt
Mildred gat the chop but is voted head girl in a rigged vote...
Everyone goes
on about this remarkable 'Art Magic' of Millies ...(Tho i think we saw
far better magic acts then that thru the previous 39 episodes)
This sets up
what is to come next when millie heads off to Wyrdsisters College in 2001
(Probably on a speacial Arts Scholarship) when the new series starts.
