The photo on your left side was taken while my first cousin, Alex and i went to Kota Kinabalu. If i have not mistaken, it was on February 1999. I don't remember the exact date. After we reached Kota Kinabalu we stayed at my aunt's house not so far from Kota Kinablu City, maybe only seven miles from there. Because we were so tired and exhausted, my cousin asked us to go to Tanjung Aru beach for relaxation and also for dinner. At Tanjung Aru beach, we found that there were so many people enjoying their wonderful evening. Then we took some photos as a  memory as we couldn't come there more often.

This second photo also was taken on February 1999 at Centre Point Kota Kinabalu. Centre Point is one of the largest shopping complex in Sabah and i heard from friend that Centre Point is the largest shopping complex in Malaysia. I don't know whether it was true or not. This photo taken after my cousin and i had played games called "Ting Tong". The games corner was so busy as Chinese New Year has just finished and most Sabahan were enjoying their vocation there whether with friends or their respective family.

Can you guess where was this photo taken? Yes, it was at the middle of Mount Kinabalu. On that time i was sixteen years old. This was the second i climbed Mount Kinabalu and mean it was the second i felt so tired and my legs felt numb. I almost couldn't reach the summit but my spirit bought me there. Amazingly, i was the first among hundred climbers who reached the top of the highest land in Asia. From the summit of Kinabalu, i could see thousands of light blistering around me but quite far to grasp. I was so proud on that time and thought i was so lucky because there were so many Malaysian and even Sabahan had not opportunity to get this most prominent place.

Then, how's about this fourth photo? It was taken at Sepilok, Sandakan. I was about to sit my SPM on that time but because i needed to refresh my brain so i invited my family to go there and some other places. More detail, i was seventeen on that time. Well, Sepilok is not only well-known in Sabah or Malaysia but also most popular among tourist around the world. This is because besides Sarawak and Kalimantan, Indonesia, Orang Utan just can be found in Sepilok. In view of the extinction of this species, government therefore takes some actions to make sure the existence of this mammal in the future.

When i see this photo, i gonna cry and the greatest regret comes onto my mind because it's so hard to forget this bitter memory and foolishness. If i was not too emotional and use my brain maximally, surely i am now is called as an engineer. Someone that certainly my family can be proud of! But it just a dream, just a dream. Now after seven years ended, i realized that i was so stupid and useless. Actually after accepted to pursue my study in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia on 1996, i gave up and dropped out from that uni after only a week stayed there. Even though now i have Degree in Economics, but i preferred engineering than economics. (Pic taken June 1996)

Of course it's me, during our visit to Narinang Church in Kota Belud. If i have not mistaken, it was on 1996. After our programs have finished we proceeded to Kota Kinabalu city. There we went to Tanjung Aru beach and bought foods for our night activity. Unfortunately, our activity has been spoilt by a petty missunderstang between our team. I felt a bit disappointed but what could i do.

I was in Bukit Padang. To those who never know about Bukit Padang, Bukit Padang is rehabilation center for those who are mentally ill. Here they will be leaded and assisted how to be a normal person. Actually, i came here with more than fifty students accompanied by a lecturer and his assistance. We had been there for about three hours before we back to our main campus. Lots of knowledge have be gained here especially the factors that cause them become abnormal and how to cure them to be a normal person.

This last photo was taken during my wedding with my beloved lover... August 1999..he..he.. actually not me but my sister and her husband. I was just twenty on that time and get married was not a good idea.. still too young. On that time i was studying at Universiti Malaysia Sabah in first semester, first year when my sister asked me back to Sandakan.
