The Davie Hurricane Hatters established itself in late December 2005 as an offical chapter of the Red Hats. We are based in Broward County, Florida
(about 2 miles South of Fort Lauderdale).
We had our first meeting on January 28th at the Home Town Buffet, also located in Davie, with 28 ladies all decked out in Red and Purple. By the following Monday we had 35 members and by May we grew to 50, which is where I have capped enrollment at.
