My taste in music is constantly changing. I guess like everybody, I will be happy to listen to one band or type of music one day, and something entirely different the next. I'm quite proud of the fact that I can respect music. You see, I look at music differently to most people. I categorise music like this: - Music I like and can see is 'good' - That which I don't like but I can admit is 'good' - That which I like but I can admit is nott 'good' 'Good' is music which I believe takes talent and creativity to make. For example, I hate listening to classical music, but it is obviously 'good' as it requires so much skill to make. I might like a heavy metal band, but I could admit that the music is random noise and took little effort to make.
Baring this in mind, these are the bands I currently listen to: Pearl Jam - Brilliant, brilliant band. I wish I could have been the age I am now back in the early nineties when this music was new. I would love to see Pearl Jam live on stage when they were young and little-known. Just imagine the feeling of hearing 'Alive' live for the very first time. Amazing. |
