Jonathan b.29 Jun 1815 was the son of Jonathan and Esther (Griffith) Longfellow. He married first Amy Ellen Cubbidge b. 7 Jan
1820 that was born in Delaware and they had three children: 1)James Polk Longfellow b. 4 Oct 1844 and he married Catherine Cooper
29 Oct 1867 and they had Amy Ellen Longfellow
b.26 Oct 1868 and she married
Sam Carl Hughes.
2)Amy Ellen Longfellow b.8 Apr 1847 and she married
William Hopkins
3)Catherine M. Longfellow born 1849. Amy Ellen
(Cubbidge/Cubbage)Longfellow died on 3 Jul 1854. This picture I am told is of Jonathan and Amy (Cubbidge) Longfellow which would have had to have been taken before 1854. Can anyone recognize this photo to help us all know if it is Jonathan Longfellow b.1815 and one of his wives or James Polk Longfellow and his wife Catherine Maria Cooper ? It is a very nice picture and I'm certain many people would be interested in having and knowing who it was. Also the second photo is of the Whiteleysburg home and would like to know who all the people might be in this picture. Any clues please let me know.

Smith and they had James Smith Longfellow on 27 Feb 1881 and he married Martha Lee Horne and those two had Mellie Guiford Longfellow that married William Robert Hickman 2)Jonathan C. b.
1859 3)laura V. b.5 Dec 1861 and she married John B. Green
4)Ida Belle Longfellow b.25 Nov 1864 in Denton,Delaware and she married
Henry White Hughes.5)Annie Florence b.14 Aug 1867 and she married George Dill.
6)Marl(y)? Elizabeth Longfellow that married James Thorley 7)Earnest D. b.24 Jun 1874 He married a Katie and they had Paul L. Longfellow.8)Ella Longfellow may have moved to Baltimore.9)
George B. b.24 May 1879 10)Hannah may have moved to Montana
11)William Longfellow. Sarah Elizabeth Conner died 29 Jul 1882. Jonathan b.1815 remarried a third time to Mary A. Horney
9 Jan 1883. Jonathan of Whiteleyburg died 23 Mar 1907
