Jonathan born in 1815 built his lumber mill just behind the trees of top picture of Elk Falls, Kansas.He was buried in Elk Falls. His son Robert lived here for some time and he also was buried here. Robert's son William also was buried here in Elk Falls and this is where Orville was born. This picture was where many of the Longfellow's played and grew up in Elk Falls, Kansas. William Allen Longfellow and Viola Mae Stewart and was born here in Elk Falls, Elk, Kansas 9 Feb 1900 Orville grew up in Elk Falls Kansas and later married Melba Adams on 24 Jun 1925.
