Sunday 1st May: Went for Pancakes and Coffee this morning, which was located in the Backpacker's, also there is a Bar, Restaurant, Newsagency, Internet Cafe and Hair Salon! Apart from the Govenment Buildings here in Canberra, there is not much to do apart from Shop for Clothes and Groceries! Off to Sydney tomorrow again, then from there going back to Surfer's Paradise!

Monday 2nd:
Left Canberra this morning, for Sydney, whoo, the land of pubs and partying! Arrived, at about 1pm, am staying in the same place as last time - The Maze Backpacker's mainly because it was just easier than phoning around others', finding out where they are located and other general things etc! ...also, I got a free beer on arival...

Tuesday 3rd:Walked up George Street, towards Circular Quay, via Darling Harbour. Went to see Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy @ the Cinema. It was Cheapy Tueaday, as it was only $5 = 2!

Friday 6th: Took a Ferry to Manly, walked around the shops and went on 'beach, then back to the city for the Friday Night Night Life, which started at 'SideBar', then moved onto The 'ScuBar' and ended up at the 'StarBar'.. they all have one thing in common... yes they are all bars/pubs, but they all end in Bar!!

Saturday 7th:
It rained today, so all Maze activities were cancelled, which included walking from Coodge to Bondi Beach, but watched movies and played pool with other peeps from the UK instead! Am thinking of going to Luna Park sometime next week, which is a little like Alton Towers, Thorpe Park or Chessington... but only had a few small rides and one rolercoster!

Sunday 8th: Was rudly awakened by the New South Wales Fire Brigade, and the Maze Fire Alarm! Everyone had to be evacuated... we were all standing outside in our pyjamays etc and had to wait ages until someone told us what was going on!  Later found out that it was a fire drill, and they do it about once a month, they don't tell you what day, or what time.., and in this case it was Sunday Morning at 7am...! Walked to Hyde Park and had a toddle about there, went onto the Anzac War Museum and the Australian Museum, which are both located near the park. As it was Mother's Day, there were loads of activities going on; the main event was the Salvation Army (the Salvo's) playing music in the park! Early Evening came, and I went up the AMP Sydney Tower. Did this last time, but thought I would get a different view of the city at night. After, I met up with some of the people from my room and headed off to the Sidebar!

Monday 9th: Was thinking of doing the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb on Wednesday, so I walked up to Circular Quay to find out where I had to go... It was such a nice day, I ended up doing the Bridge climb anyway. WOW! What a view, amazing 360o views of the Sydney Skyline, Bondi Beach, North Sydney and The Blue Mountains! The climb itself took 3 hours to complete and at the end was issued with a certificate and a photo of the group with the Opera House and the skyline in the background!

Tuesday 10th:
Went down to Darling Harbour, then made my way to the Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylons, and took in the view from the top ... 400 steps later! It was so strange seeing the Bridge up close, and actually seeing where I had climbed op! I still can't believe I did it!

Wednesday 11th:
Took a Bus down to the famous Bondi Beach, then it was off to Circlular Quay to catch the ferry to Manly. Walked around the shops etc, saw the 'My Restaurant Rules' Restaurant - which included contestants Bella, Evan, Chef Jeff and Todd from Brisbane! This is a reality show based on 5 different restaurants around the country (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide)  - all competing for the $100,000 prize money! Got the ferry back to the city, and saw the sunsetting over thr Sydney Harbour Bridge / Opera House! Went for dinner thet the Sidebar, and finished off packing!

Wednesday 18th: Phoned up a Radio Station located near Sanctuary Cove to see if I could do some voluntary work there. When I was here last time I went down there to see how things are run and how everything works. It's simular to Radio Northwick Park, also voluntary work, but they are located in a Shopping Centre and broadcast over the tannoy and in and around the local area too!

Thursday 19th: Went to Brisbane today, started off at the South Bank, and took a ferry across the Brisbane River, overlooking the City and finished the day, walking around the CBD. (Central Business District) When I left the weather took a turn for the worse luckily I was already well on my way back to the Gold Coast, but outside was a different story it looked like it was raining but later found out that it was a Hail storm and a Snow fall! The damage caused major problems to the Highway (Motorway) Houses, local shops, restaurants and businesses. The latest damage bill is estimated at ( AUD $ ) 10 million.

Friday 20th: Spent the day at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show 2005, where it has been held there for the past 17 years!

Saturday 21st:
I've been back here in Queensland, for just over a week now, and am getting used to the laid back lifestyle they live here. Its rather quite different to the other places I have visited this year - Victoria (Melbourne), New South Wales (Sydney) and South Australia (Adelaide), mainly due to the fact that the weather hosts non stop sunshine for up to 300 days a year, with not even a cloud in the sky, the people are friendlier and the beer is MUCH cheaper here too!

Sunday 22nd:
Took Grandma and Grandpa out for a $6 Steak and Chips had a few goes on the fruit machines; they call them pokies here, did not win anything on that, but $5 on Keno, which is similar to our National Lottery (Lotto)

Thursday 26th: Went to help Grandma and Grandpa set-up tables for the Wedding on Sunday. Howard from Melbourne arrived today, went to Coolangatta to collect him and went to bed!

Friday 27th: Did'nt do very much today, helped Grandpa with the gardening and went to see how Jim was getting on with his boat he is building!

Saturday 28th:
Went out with Howard to Surfer's today, walked all the way from the Surfer's sign, right to the end Main Beach! Took about 2 hours in total, and by the end of it, I was absolutly knackered! Nearly got the bus back to Surfers Central!...

Sunday 29th:
It's the day of the big Wedding! Grandma and Grandpa are re-taking their marraige vowles again, with a few other friends of their's too - Jim and Anita, Kate and Herb and the Ventura's. They have 90 people coming, so it should be a fun experience!

Monday 30th:
Went into Surfer's this morning, walked around the shops, and had a stroll along the 27 and ha half mile golden white sandy beach... ahh, that's the life!

Tuesday 31st:
