Jesse Robinson's wife had to settle his estate by auction at the order of the county sheriff, to settle the outstanding debts. There also was a simple will leaving all to his wife, including a milk cow and a weavingloom. Several Robinson's and Bolin's attended the auction.

Bill of Sale of the estate of Jesse Robinson-

The State of Ohio-Athens county I, Sarah Robinson, administrator of the estate of Jesse Robinson deceased, make solemn oath that this writing inventory of said estate is as all reflects just and true and contained a true statement of the estate and property of deceased which has come to the knowledge of affiant being assets, and particularly all money hand bills or other circulating medium and just claims against affiant to the best of herknowledge. The property and belongings of the estate of Jesse Robinson deceased, set off by the undersigned for the support of widow Sarah Robinson and sons Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, Aaron, and William Robinson, his minor children under fifteen years of age.

The following is a list of the property belonging to the estate of Jesse Robinson decesed allowed to the widow and minor children set off by the undersigned and not appraised. One weaving loom, two spinning wheels, one family Bible, school books, one milk cow, the clothing of family and deceased, 3 beds, bedsteads and bedding, one tea kettle, one stew pot, one bake oven, one ?, one wash kettle, one table and six chairs, 6 knives and forks, 6 plates, 6 cups and saucers, 1 tea pot. Nov. 16, 1849.

This may certifiy that I have received in two payments from Sarah Robinson administrator of the estate of Jesse Robinson due, fifty dollars, forty dollars of that amount paid in a note on Raber McKinstry in April last or there about and the other ten dollars paid in cash by Elias Robinson in the summer of AD 1852 the receipt of these two pay are reported to be the last this may answer in their ? until found Sept. 7, AD 1853 J. W. Blackwood

Van Vorhes and made oath that the Notice, a copy of which is herto attached, was published in the "Athens Messenger," a Newspapaer in general circulation in said county, 4 consecutive weeks, next after the 21st day of November, 1849. And that the said paper was during that time published in said county. Publication Fee $1.00
