Thomas Robinson

Thomas J. Robinson, was born December 1, 1838 and departed this life December 28, 1920, at the advanced age of 84 years and 37 days.

At the age of 24 years he enlisted in the service of his country for almost four years. He became a Christian and a member of the Chase church, a number of years ago and was always a supporter of church and Sunday School. "Uncle Jeff" as he was called by many, was of a kind generous disposition and thoughtful of the welfare of others. His last illness was of several week's duration and intense suffering at times and while he desired to be well again, he told those at his bedside that there was a better home above and he had no fears of death. He is the last member of a family of ten children and may his going remind us that death is is a brighter day at hand and that we will all be called to follow.

**Thomas Jefferson Robinson was the son of Jesse and Sarah Bolin Robinson
