Davdi and Catherine

We have finally found time to update our website for 2005 and let you know what we have been doing during the year.

DECEMBER

These are some pictures from last Christmas - Catherine was delighted with her gift from Santa.

David wasn't so sure about his. Maybe he recognised Santa?

Grandma and grandad stayed with us for Christmas - here we are having Christmas lunch at home, cooked by daddy.

Catherine enjoyed the celebrations in her class.

Grandma and granddad enjoyed the New Year's Eve Rugby Ball.

So did mummy and daddy.

JANUARY

We went skiing in France and David and Catherine came along for the first time.

They had lessons in the morning and then played with other children in the chalet in the afternoon - sometimes they went out skiing again with mummy and daddy.

David has just finished his ski lesson.

Catherine has a new ski suit [plenty of room for next year too!]

MARCH

Nana and grandpa came out to visit in March as usual.

MAY

Mummy's cousin, Karen, came out to visit.

JULY - AUGUST

During the summer we returned to the UK.

We stayed in Malvern with nana and grandpa. We made our usual visit to Eastnor Castle. Here is David sword fighting with Charlie.

We also went to visit grandma and granddad in their new home in St. Clear's, South Wales, and visited the famous Laugherne Castle. [We seem to visit a lost of castles in the UK]

And seeing all the animals at Folly Farm

We visited Barry 'GBH' Pope and Elaine in their new home in Llandogo, near Monmouth. They run a bed and breakfast if you wish to visit them.

We stayed a week with Uncle Ade, Auntie Chris, Sophie and Chloe in Faringdon, Oxon. Here we are with all the family helping to open the lock gate [except mummy who is taking the picture].

David was 6 in July and he celebrated his birthday with his cousins.

SEPTEMBER

Back in Abu Dhabi we have spent nearly every Friday going out on our boat and David can now pull himself up and water ski behind the boat.

David has also started karate. Here is is with our neighbour, Tom, practising some of his moves.

OCTOBER

Catherine was 5 in October and she invited all her class to her birthday party at the Club which she shared with her friend Alix. They had a lovely big Barbie cake with 5 candles, a bouncy castle and face-painting. She received lots of wonderful presents.

Nana and grandpa have just been out for their 18th visit to the Emirates. We spent last weekend in Al Ain where we had a wonderful time at Trader Vic's restaurant.
