September:

Some weeks without tournaments for Prinosil so far. The Indoorseason is about to start. After canceling the tournament in Toulouse due to an explosion at a nearby petrochemical plant David was back on the ATP circuit for the tournament in Moscow where he lost in the first round. In doubles he reached the Semi in Stuttgart with his partner Martin Damm. After two first round losses in Stuttgat and St. Petersburg, he plays the Challenger in Aachen instead of the Masters Series in Paris this week.

August:

The North American Hardcourt season has started...
Montreal was the first Hardcourttournament for Prinosil. Unfortunately he lost in both, singles and doubles in the first round. Cincinnati was more successful. Well, in singles he lost in three sets against Greg Rusedski, but reached the doubles final together with Martin Damm. In Washington Prino wasn't as good as last year when he reached the semifinal there, but
won the doubles competition together with Damm again!!
In Long Island Prinosil only played singles and reached the second round.
The US Open: Prino lost in the first round against Georg Bastl. In doubles the team Prinosil/Damm reached the second round where they lsot against the latert finalists Johnson/Palmer.

July:

A little rest for Prinosil after Wimbledon. He played for his Club TC Amberg in the Bundesliga and trained for the hardcourt season.

June:

After the French Open the next Grand Slam with Wimbledon came soon. The grass season had begun and Halle, Queens, s'Hertogenbosch, Nottingham, Wimbledon had to be played.
David was defending champion in Halle and won against Carlos Moya there in the first round. But second round was the end against Federer ...

No Qualifying for Wimbledon this year, and so Prinosil played Nottingham instead, but lost in the first round against Black.
In Wimbledon was end in the 3rd round against Safin, a close match over 5 sets ...

May:

First tournament for David Prinosil in May was Rome and unfortunately also this tournament was over after the first round.
Rusedski, agianst whom he won in Miami was too strong this time. Prinosil didn't like the court conditions after the heavy rain, but same circumstances for both, so ...

First round loss in in Hamburg against Johansson, normally David had won against him, but it was their first meeting on clay ...

World Team Cup in Düsseldorf: David only played in the doubles with Tommy Haas and the team won against Sweden and Spain , but lost against the doubles from Australia. In a close decision Germany missed the final which Australia won this year.

French Open: Lost in 1st round against the German Lars Burgmüller who was the most successful German player at the French Open in the end!

April:

Not the best start into the month. The German team lost against the Netherlands in the Davis Cup QF with 4-1
Unfortunately David couldn't win in either the singles nor the doubles.

Now into the clay court season. Let's hope he can let the bad results behind and start with more success inte the clay tournies. The tournament in Rom e.g. should be a good memory for him ;-)

März:

Prinosil lost in two straight sets against Pete Sampras in Indian Wells.
In Miami he reached the third round, but lost once more against Agassi there
 

Februar:

At the beginning of February Germany played the first Round Davis Cup against Romania in Braunschweig, Germany. In front of the home crowd Germany won narrow with 3-2. David and Marc-Kevin Goellner lost against Pavel/Trifu on Saturday, but Haas and Kiefer won the important singles on Sunday to bring Germany into the second Round where the Netherlands are waiting who won easily against defending champion Spain. This time Germany won't have a home crowd behind, the QF is going to be played in April in S'Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

Two narrow losses in the first rounds in Rotterdam and Dubai for Prinosil.

Januar: 
 

David started the year in Doha at the Qatar Open and lost in the first round there in singles, but reached the second round in doubles with Nenad Zimonic.Unfortunately again a first round lost loss against Santoro in the following week in Sydney.

First Grand Slam of the year in Melbourne with the Aussie Open. David's double Partner now: Byron Black
David, called "Iron man" in the German press already, reached the 3rd round at the Aussie Open after two nerve racking 5 set matches. After playing great tennis against Agassi, he unfortunately he had to retire in the match at 6/7 0/5 due to exhaustion and the heat outside...
David reached the Final with his double partner Byron Black. Unfortunately they lost in 4 sets against Jonas Björkmann and Todd Woodbridge.
But Congratiolations for reaching the final of a Grand Slam again! :-)
