Fishing Photos
This page contains photographs of my friends and family enjoying long summer days under the sun and on the water.  Check back for updates during the fishing season.
The end of a day on Horseshoe Shoal (East Falmouth, MA).
(Below)  Stalking the harbor inlet for Scup, Striper and Summer Flounder.  Falmouth, MA has miles and miles of waterfront and many salt ponds that lure in the bass.
(Left) Success!  My first flounder of the day.  We caught many keepers and had a wonderful fish fry that night.  We released even more to be caught again when they become "door mats."
(Above) His first striped bass.  It obviously was not a keeper, but YOU tell him that it's not a nice catch!
(Right)  My first fish in 1968.  My son caught his first almost 30 years to the day later.  Just look at his face!  Talk about building self esteem in a kid.

Remember, if you are taking a child out on a fishing trip, your best bet is to take them to a location where they are guaranteed to catch.  If you catch nothing but sunfish all day, you will still be ahead of the game.

Get a kid hooked early.  If your child does not fish before he or she is a teen, they may never fish in their lifetime.
