I
took this pic right before I went into the building to visit
the top floor, this really shows how big the towers are,
I couldn't fit them all in shot. One thing you can't see
is the huge crowds of people below walking around below. |
 |
I
was on an open-top tourist bus on a bridge when I took this
pic. It shows most of Southern Manhattan which is dwarfed
by the twin towers. |
 |
I
took this pic from a sightseeing boat just after it departed
from a pier near the twin towers. |
 |
I
was on the Statue of Liberty Ferry when I took this picture
which shows the Manhattan skyline. |
 |
This
is the view from the top of the Empire State Building, looking
South towards lower Manhattan. The twin towers can be seen
towards the right, and are actually considerably taller
than the Empire State. |
 |
Taken
over the rooftops of Manhattan, you can see the financial
district of New York in the background, including the World
Trade Center. |
 |
The
Aircraft Carrier USS Intrepid, which is now an air and sea
museum open to the public. A destroyer and nuclear submarine
are docked next to it, and can also be visited. |
 |
A
silhouette of the Statue of Liberty, and Liberty Island,
taken from a boat. |
 |
A
very badly taken photo of the Empuire State Building, taken
quite close to my hotel. It's now the tallest building in
new York - I was too close to get all of it in. |
