| History Our School Race team was first formed in 1999 with the intention of building an electric kart and racing it at Pembrey in Kart Challenge Wales. All our vehicles have; a 24 volt 250 w FRACMO motor at their heart. The following year we discovered the Greenpower Formula 24 race series. The regulations although similar, meant that we would have to build a completely new car to compete. That was way back during the winter of 2000. The pupils and staff are now hard at work building our next car for this season. we will then have built a total of 5 Karts in 9 years most of which have been very successful. Whilst we have remained Welsh Champions for a total of 9 years, we have found it much more of a challenge racing against the English schools although we have always been in the top 20 cars.
