Use Bacta
Corik didn’t hesitate one second. Remembering the bacta container he had obtained early in his adventure, he reached into his belt and opened it, quickly applying its contents to Master Edem, who lay motionless on the floor. Though the burns from the lightning were deep, the bacta healing agent healed deeper, and it wasn’t long before the wounds were sealed up. He waited for Master Edem to wake up.

He awoke shortly after it was finished, and Corik told him what had happened. Master Edem said he would be alright, and was proud of Corik for his efforts and for not tolerating the evils of the Sith as the Jedi Council had.
“Why’d you and the other Jedi go along with Capula? Couldn’t he be defeated?” Corik asked.
“We were afraid of the consequences of his death, and frankly I still am. That Sith got the Republic into a mess, and all we could think of doing rationally was to concede to his will, or risk economic collapse and political uproar. But you took that risk, and for that I’m glad, despite what may come of this. He needed to be stopped. I just don’t know how we’ll prove that Deneg really was a Sith Lord without evidence, especially since it looks like we carried out an assasination.”
And as Master Edem feared, the uproar was great. The Senate refused to believe Corik’s story about the death of President Capula, for the video shown of the encounter had been edited to look like an assasination. The death was recorded as assassination, a planned attempt by the Jedi Council to take over control of Capula. The Council was put under arrest, and each Jedi served 5 years in prison, Corik and Master Edem spending 10 for the personal carrying out of the “plans” for the crime. Capula was shut down due to lack of leadership and financial depression arose. The Senate worked to restore order, and despite the rough times those first few years following that day of change, the Republic was in for a better future.
Corik saw that future out, as the people began to trust the Jedi again. The Jedi’s numbers grew, and true justice, order, and peace began to service the Republic in full like never before. Corik died after a hundred ten years of strong and valiant living to become one with the Force, a life and death worthy of a true Jedi.
