Mind Tricks

            Now it was Corik’s turn to try to control someone else’s thoughts. But it wasn’t as simple as he thought it would be through his training. He stretched his feelings and tried to talk into the mind of the prisoner through the cell.

“You want to tell me about the resistance. You want to tell me what you know.” he said, waving his hand at the man.
“No I don’t, and I won’t” he replied.
“You want to tell me what you’re thinking” Corik said, trying a different approach.
“I’m thinking I’m never going to tell you what you want to hear. You know what else I think? You Jedi have turned to scum!”
Corik turned to Master Quithar, wondering what to do next. She nodded for him to keep trying. Mind tricks aren’t going to work. Maybe I should try something else…
