Help From Master Quithar
“I think I’d rather let you give it a try, Master.” Corik stated “I cannot.”
“Very well, but never use the word ‘try’, Corik, for a Jedi must have confidence in what he can and cannot do.”
“Can you?” Corik inquired, gesturing toward the prisoner. To that question the Jedi Master for once remained silent. Instead, she turned off the ray shields holding the prisoner and brought him into a room, shutting the door.
It was a soundproof room, Corik couldn’t hear a word that was being spoken. So he stood patiently, waiting for his Master to return. Return she did, but the prisoner behind her was not silent as he was before.
“You are responsible for this disaster. Your acceptance is the reason this destruction continues. The blood spilled on those innocent planets is on your-”
The door closed before he could finish his sentence. But it was more than enough to give Corik something to chew on. He left with Master Quithar and immediately retired to his private quarters to think on what he had just heard.
