Maximise depth in low trash conditions by turning up
the preamp gain.Smaller objects can be detected even with a large coil by                     raising the A/C sensitivity.
 Purchase a 4 inch coil to use in high junk areas
 To get the best audible signal have a hearing test and from your doctor's report use this formula;
 To pinpoint shallow targets in high junk areas simply lift the coil an inch or two off the ground.This lessens the depth but also
                    decreases the coverage area of the 9. 5" loop.
 Wet sand problems can sometimes be improved by changing the transmit freq. to a higher value and discriminating out VDI 95.
 Turn off icons as it slows the processing speed.Batteries also seem to last longer.
 When in moderate to heavy junk situations knocking up the recovery speed a few numbers often helps.
 As long as the machine is stable a little more depth can be achieved by switching modulation off rather than altering preamp gain.
General detecting tips

 The best bit of advice I can give is to join a club....Most detectorists fear joining a club because they think millions of club
members will suddenly descend on the little bit of land that they have!
this is generaly untrue.Not only will you gain more land                      but you'll gain more knowledge, more freinds and when your going through a bad patch you'll be inspired to get out when you                      see
the finds table every month.

 Take no notice of the "advice" that field has been "hammered","done to death","clubs have been on there".You'll hear this all the
                     time but some of our best finds have come from so called "wiped out" sites.
