Barbara Ann was born & raised in South Dakota until she was 16, when her family moved to California. After living in California for several years, she returned to South Dakota, where she met David and they were married. She is a VERY big fan of Elvis Presley. . . (She was even in his Beverly Hill home once!!). whe has a son, Royce, from a previous marriage, who is now living on his own. |

David Jacob Lee was born & raised in Indiana until he joined the US Air Force. He was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota where he was a Missile Security Specialist. He is a HUGE star trek fan, and if asked, would have to say his favorited characters are Jadzia Dax and Captain Janeway. He is a professional Charter Bus Driver, and has driven in 44 states, the District of Columbia, 2 Canadian Provinces, and 1 Mexican State.

Our Home is nestled in a small county setting approximately 1 1/2 - 2 miles south east of a small South Dakota community named Belle Fourche. Belle Fourche is French meaning 'Beautiful Fork' or 'Beautiful Flower'. The town is situated between 2 forks of the Belle Fourche River which flows eastward from the Big Horn Mountains, 200 miles to the west in Wyoming. We are about 1 hour from Devil's Tower to the West, and about 1 1/2 hours from Mt. Rushmore to the Southeast.
The House is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, with an attached 2 car garage and a partial walk-out basement. It is situated on 2 acres of land. We have 6 dogs, who just love all that space to run and play in. . .
The House was built in 1914, burned in the early 1950's, and was remodeled and added on to in the late 1950's. Since moving in 5 years ago, we have discovered the this is the house that our neighbor to the east grew up in. The house sits just outside the Belle Fourche city limits. |
