The apartment is ideal for people seeking a quiet private location, but with easy access to the beaches and holiday attractions. Details of some attractions and tourist maps are available in the apartment.

Vilamoura, it�s beaches, marina, and golf courses, is about 5 minutes drive away. Quarteira and Albufeira are also easily accessible.

Faro Airport is about 30 minutes drive away, and instructions on driving from the airport to the apartment will be given when a booking is confirmed.

Hiring a car is strongly recommended

Within walking distance, the village has 2 restaurants and a very friendly corner shop. The shop is very well stocked, open daily except Sunday, from 08.30 am to 21.00 pm. approx. and has fresh bread and rolls delivered daily. It also has a small bar where you can have a coffee and brandy or an ice cold beer while you are there.

Many Portuguese restaurants are a short drive away and details of some of them are available in the apartment.

Benfarras is about 5 kms away from Boliqueime where there is a pharmacy, supermarket, bank, post office, cafe and local shops.

The picturesque old town of Loul� is about 10 - 15 mins drive away and is the nearest large town. It has 2 modern supermarkets, Lidl and Modelo, a covered central market, where fresh fruit, vegetable, fish and meat are sold every weekday morning, a pedestrian precinct, all the usual shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, pizza bar/takeaway and Chinese restaurant/takeaway and many shops for local produce and handicrafts. Every Saturday, the large market in Loul� is a combination of gypsies and local farmers selling their wares.

The apartment is maintained by the owners who live in the upstairs apartment of the house.
