Recently developed and implemented GO2000 - Garments Overlay 2000
(Packaged Software) designed to integrate the entire Manufacturing
processes. Biggest project of IST,
system includes the entire chain of supply cycle from setting up of Bill of
Materials to Purchasing to Production to Order Processing and to Distribution of
finished products. Software package
also includes facilities to generate net requirements plan for Materials
Requirements Plan (MRP) and Distribution Replenishment Plan (DRP). Also include interfaces with
existing PC systems for local operations.
Major modules include Forecasting, Purchasing, Shop Floor Control,
Inventory, Order Management, Billing, Costing and Sales. As a VB developer, I develop some
modules for GO2000 like purchase order, materials management, etc.. As an SAP ABAP/4 Developer, job includes
Interface development using BAPI and RFC whereas these interfaces interacts with
third party application like VB to SAP and vice versa, supervision of local
development work for PC interface programs.
Maintained and developed EDI SYSTEM (Electronic Data Interchange) designed to link key accounts to the integrated GO2000 system to other systems of Integrated Solutions Technology some of which are ProTrack, XOTrack, Chattelaine and others. Job includes supervision of smooth operations of the system.
