Well Dave and I did make it to Paris in November but unfortunately we didn't take any photos with the video camera so I don't have any to put on our news page.

The weather was fairly average but we still had a lovely weekend. We went up the Eiffel tower at night which showed us a darned spectacular view of Paris. We also did the typical touris things like visit Sacre Coer, Notre Dame, and the Louvre (although we didn't go inside as the lines were so long every time we got near). I would have liked to have seen Paris in the Spring as I think the time of year we went didn't really do it justice.

Overall it was a lovely trip and I am so pleased we got there - even just to say "I've been to Paris".
NOVEMBER NEWS
DECEMBER/Early JANUARY  NEWS
Our last few weeks in the UK were, mostly, spent organising our return home. Kate had finished work but Dave didn't finish at Treliske Hospital until December 30th. Christmas was a quiet but lovely affair. We went to Truro Cathedral for a carol service before Christmas day and also attended Christmas morn service there as well. Craig, Dave's colleague and friend, came down from Taunton for New Year's Eve. Truro's fireworks were pretty but nothing compared to what we have seen in Hobart. It was still interesting to part of their celebrations though.

We left our rental on January 5th after cleaning it for a couple of days - we stayed in a local B&B for a couple of nights - before heading to Plymouth by train, to fly to Dublin for 3 nights then on to Edinburgh for 3 nights and then London for 2 nights.
