Nice to see there are still people in the world who advocate continuing the work of my forefathers.
As with most family names, mine belongs to someone who no longer carries out the trade that the name suggests.
However, in the true spirit of your dictum I am devoted to drinking vast quantities of alcohol and eating anything even vaguely unhealthy.
In fact, to carry this to the extreme I plan to attend the Great British Beer Festival at Kensington Olympia this weekend. It's on 3rd - 5th August inclusive. If any of your Paved Earthers are in London I strongly recommend that they attend, if only to be inducted into the delights of drinking flat ale at room temperature and eating food that is specifically designed to bring out the wind in you!
I suppose that is the only deviation I have from your dictum. For beer read English Real Ale and for Burgers read anything fried with chips (NOT fries).
