3 MONTH ACL CHECK UP:

It's been three months since Carbon suffered that brutal attack at the hands of The North East Bulldogs at Peterlee Leisure Center

From the result of that attack Carbon suffered a ruptured ACL which would put him out of action for the next 8 months to possibly a year. Surgon Mr R . Gregory and his team began work on the ruptured ligament 3 hours later surgery was finished and a success.

After the 3 month post op appointment with Mr Gregory it appears the knee is healing alot slower than first anticipated. There is fear that the graft used to replace the ACL could in fact have failed meaning Dave could be in for a second operation and possibly another year out of the ring.

REMEMBER THE 5TH NOVEMBER: NEW!

Carbon underwent an MRI scan to his recently repaired knee on Wednesday to try confirm the success of the ACL reconstruction.

The ACL recon seems to have suffered some minor set backs in recent weeks which led Doctors to believe the graft may have failed which could result in a second operation.

Results for the scan will be brought forward on Monday 5th November, and posted ASAP.
