1. Change of Subject / Faculty in B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. I will be allowed only on the written permission of the Principal.
2. For the change of Faculty / Subject, the prescribed application form will have to be submitted to Prof. Incharge, Time Table.
3. In case the permission for the change of Faculty / Subject is granted, the students will have to pay the prescribed fee.
4. It is important to note that attendance in the changed subject will be counted from the beginning of the academic year.
5. In no case, the attendance of the changed subject will be added to the newly alloted subject.
6. Change of Faculty / Subject will not be allowed after the dates decided by the
University.
RULES CONCERNING LEAVING THE COLLEGE
If a student has to leave the college on one or other ground, he / she will have to get his /her name deleted from the register of the college, otherwise he / she will have to pay the college fee and dues for the whole year.
RULE FOR MIGRATION
Permission can be granted to the students to migrate from one college to the other (except local colleges) within one month of the start of the academic session.
HOUSE EXAMINATION
The students are required to appear in two class tests of one hour each in the month of September / October and January and One House Examination of three hours duration in the month of December. The students who abstain themselves from these House Examinations will be fined Rs. 20/- per paper. All concessions will be withdrawn from such students who remain absent from these House Examinations or fail in it.
ELIGIBILITY FOR UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION
As per Kurukshetra University Rules, a student will be allowed to sit in the final examination only if :-
(i) he / she attends atleast 75% of the delivered lectures in each paper. This attendance will be counted from the first day of the academic year upto the dispersal of classes. The lectures of those students who seek late admission in the college will also be counted from the beginning of the session.
(ii) he / she gets atleast 20% marks in each individual subject and 20% marks in aggregate.
SCHEDULE FOR PAYMENT OF DUES
i) At the time of admission College Dues/Fee
July, 2008 Four months from May to August
ii) September/October, 2008 University Fee / Fee for four months from September to December.
iii) January/February, 2009 Fee/Dues for four months from January to April
1. Information regarding the payment of the fee and dues is displayed on the Notice Board from time to time.
2. Printed Receipt for the fee and dues deposited must be obtained and should be kept safely.
3. Fee and dues once paid are not refundable.
4. If the fee and dues are not paid within the notified period in the specified month, a fine of Rs. 5/- per day will be charged.
5. If the dues remain unpaid for 30 days after the fixed date, the name of the student shall be struck off from the college rolls.
6. Such a student can be re-admitted on the payment of arrears and the re-admission
fee. The re-admission can be made only at the discretion of the Principal.
LEAVE RULES
1. The students may apply for leave on the prescribed form available in the college office.
2. The leave application must be recommended by the Prof. Incharge and submitted to the Principal before it is availed of.
3. The Prof. Incharge may grant leave upto three days.
4. Only the Principal shall grant leave of a longer duration.
5. A Medical Certificate from the College Doctor or from the Govt. Dispensary /
Hospital must accompany the leave application on account of illness.
6. Without leave application, absence from the classes is punishable with a fine of Re. 1/- per period.
7. Absence from Science Practical / Composition / NCC Parade is punishable with a fine of Rs. 5/- each.
WITHDRAWAL OF SECURITY
1. The security deposited by the students of the Session 2007-08 can be withdrawn from 15th October, 2008 to 31st March, 2009.
2. Students have to give No Dues Slip to office to withdraw this security.
3. Securities not withdrawn within a year after the end of the session will lapse and shall not be refunded.
